The two most common reasons people cannot connect are that the power is off to the modem/router or the WiFi password has changed.

Not all devices are created equal. Some devices are not compatible with 5G. You should still be able to connect to the modem with a 2.4GHz connection. Just as a side note, you will not see max speed capability through a 2.4GHz WiFi connection though. Speeds will be slower.

Absolutely. You can not only determine what your kids can view with Protect IQ but also what apps they can use and how long your children are spending in front of a screen.

Our smart networks indicate whether there is an issue with the services to your home that may require a site visit. We will notify you when we see any issues impacting your service. Most other reasons, we should be able to resolve without a tech coming to your home.
